My Purpose
I created Silent Whispers after losing my soul dog, Rea — the kind of loss that shattered me more than any human goodbye ever could.
It was grief I didn’t know how to carry, let alone explain. It felt too big, too strange, and too invisible to the outside world.
Most people don’t understand this kind of love, let alone the pain that follows when it’s gone. But I wasn’t afraid to say it out loud — that this hurt more than any other loss in my life. And I know I’m not the only one.
This journal is here to hold it. Every page, every prompt, every space was created to help you transform grief into something softer — something sacred.
It’s here so you can keep talking to them, keep remembering them, and keep honoring the bond that never truly ends.
I hope it becomes your companion — not only in the early days of heartache, but years down the line when you suddenly remember the sound of their paws, or the way they used to greet you at the door.
There’s no rush. No rules. No "right" way to heal.
I created Silent Whispers because I needed a place to talk to Rea. A space where I could cry, smile, and still feel her love without shame. And I knew others needed that space, too.
Not everyone understands the pain of losing a pet.
Some people tell you to move on, or that “it’s just a dog.”
But we know better.
